After a three-match pre-season programme, Saturday provided the first opportunity to put that preparation into competitive action — and the Bees responded by putting 50 points on the board to secure their first league victory of the new campaign. It provides a strong start to the season ahead of our return to Forshaw Heath Lane this weekend for the first home league fixture of 2026/27.
