24 points without reply in the final 15 minutes saw Bees home in emphatic style, after trailing 15-10 after 50 minutes. With just two changes from last week the home side started in confident mood and after 10 minutes went ahead through a try for wing Ross McGee after a poor clearance kick from Luctonians was collected well by full back Ben Cooper who fed McGee to score out wide. Within 5 minutes Bees extended their lead when centre Charlie Roberts broke through a number of tackles to feed fellow centre Ivor Suttie who went over.
On 23 minutes the visitors got on the score sheet with a penalty. Continued pressure from the visiting forwards saw Bees offside in the backs repeatedly and a series of errors saw Luctonians cross for a converted try. 10 all at the break.
The restart saw the visitors continue where they had left off with their second try after some poor tackling from their opponents. However this seemed to fire up a home side that had become a little lethargic and off the pace. Substitutions saw forwards Max Rollaston and Shaun Pollard-Jenkins enter the fray and their fresh legs seemed to help re-ignite the pace and tempo Bees had shown in the first quarter. Two quick tries got them back in front, firstly captain and number 8 Tom Rees broke through to score, converted by Hari Ladwa, followed by another try for McGee after a fine 50metre break from second row Finn Suttie had opened up the defence.
Two more tries, both coming from broken play finished off the scoring. Firstly Ladwa who also converted his try and then Ivor Suttie who completed his brace.
