Demons rested as U15 put in performance of the season to take the local bragging rights.

It was a cold but bright sunny morning as Bees U15’s travelled to Bromsgrove.
Hopes were high after some recent strong performances and a full squad of players.
Bees started well putting Bromsgrove under pressure, pinning them into their own 22m. area.
Quick ball and good passing saw Alex over in the corner but unfortunately not to the liking of the referee. A second scrum and some strong defence saw Bees turn it over and Alex went over again with the ref happy this time. Mack added the conversion 7:0.
Following some strong words from their coaches, Bromsgrove got in to their stride and despite good defence from all, they managed to score 4 tries out wide, making the half time score20:7 .
Bees had played well but things were looking ominous.
Again a good start saw pressure on Bromsgrove and a strong run from Kody out wide lead to Joe popping over for a try in the corner. 20:12.
This pepped up the Bees and some good drives from James, Ben and Dan through the pack, and Will and Alex through the centre, led to Kody breaking through and dotting down under the posts. Mack added the kick 20:19.
Bromsgrove’s coaches were threatening the beasting of a lifetime to their players, but Bees were in control and repeated strong tackling and driving, won a ruck just outside their 22 from which Will darted through under the posts. Mack added the kick 26:20 for the Bees, with 5 minutes to go and delirium on the touchline.
Bromsgrove came back at them with their large no. 8 crashing over out wide and the conversion hitting the post. 26:25 to the Bees
Bees stood strong, tackling anything that moved in white and when Mack cleared well up field, Arran made a good break through the middle resulting in a penalty. Bees now played a tactical game banging the kick in to corner to keep the pressure on. A good line out and ruck lead to Arran spearing over the line and through the heart of Bromsgrove. Mack converted well to put us 8 points clear.
A last try for Bromsgrove from a scrappy lineout brought the final whistle and victory for the Bees 33:30.
A great all round performance and happy celebration in O’Neils later.
