The GB Merit League will be split into 2 conferences, with each conference playing in a home and away round robin for the first part of the season. When completed, the top half of each conference will play in a Cup knock out competition and the remaining teams will play in a Plate knock out.

The Hornets will be playing in conference A against Birmingham Exiles 2nds, Camp Hill 3rds, Dixonians, Moseley Oak 2nds, Woodrush 2nds and Yardley & District 2nds.

Conference B includes Aldridge 2nds, Aston Old Edwardians 2nds, Birmingham Bulls, Erdington, Old Saltleians 2nds, Spartans (Midlands) 3rds and Veseyans 2nd.
