The Bees signed off their pre-season fixtures with a gustsy 15-12 win against Stourbridge under Friday night lights.
The victory against National League 2 North opposition made it three wins out of three for the Bees in their warm-up programme, with wins already secured on the road against Rugby Lions and Banbury.
An excellent crowd on Friday evening saw an outstanding defensive display by the home side hold out for the win by five penalties to two tries.
Pete Glackin and Ben Woods' side now have a break over the August bank holiday, before the new league campaign kicks off at Syston on Saturday 3rd September, KO 3pm.
