Bees face, Nat 2 South seasoned campaigners, Taunton Titans in what is likely to be their toughest test of the season so far!

Bees will be looking to improve on their recycling of the ball at the break down, following a couple of costly errors against Dings Crusaders last weekend. This Saturday sees the visit of second placed Taunton Titans, who have recorded home wins over Worthing & Clifton, and experienced a narrow 2 point defeat at Redruth, in their opening 3 games.

Taunton RFC was founded in 1875. Their current Hyde Park ground, now named The Commsplus Stadium, is adjacent to the M5 Motorway. In 2009/10, Taunton won National League 3 South West. 2018/19, marks their 9th successive season in Nat 2 South, finishing fourth in each of the last two seasons, accruing over 100 league points on each occasion. Their head coach is Tony Yapp, a former No.10 for Worcester Warriors, Bedford Blues, Exeter Chiefs & Taunton Titans. As a player Tony was a points machine, scoring over 3,000 in his illustrious career. Taunton have recently appointed Julian Salvi as defence coach/occasional player. Salvi, a flanker, is a former Australian A International and has played for Leicester Tigers, and more recently Exeter Chiefs.

With regard to team news, both Kurtis Payne and Matt Spink sustained injuries against Dings, so Joe Foreman moves to tight head, with Alex Willis filling the No. 1 shirt.
Ed Krawiecki comes in for Matt Spink. There are no other changes in the pack from last week's game. In the backs, Adam Nunney comes in at outside centre, with Dan Kelly moving to the right wing.

Meanwhile, the Hornets will be in search of their first win of the season in the Midlands Reserve League. They are also playing at Portway, the opposition being Hinckley 2 RFC (3.00pm, KO).
