Bees Under 10's ventured to the East Midlands for a match with Derby U10's.

It all commenced with an early Saturday morning start from the Portway heading north for a Boy's v Dad's Laser Tag which kicked off the start of a busy schedule for the touring party. Dad's were worthy winners with a 5-1 win over the boy's.

Next stop was to watch the Derby RFU 1st team win convincingly against Newbold.

Whilst the Dad's watched the rugby, the boy's held an impromptu game.

Following the game there was a historic tour of Derby, before arriving at the hotel to set the bags down to leave to go trampolining at Oxygen Freejumping Trampoline Park.

Arriving back the group headed out to grab some food before getting some well deserved rest.

Sunday morning came with the Tour party grabbing some breakfast early on, due to the early kick off with Derby U10's. The Bees boys traveled over to Haslams to prepare for the game.

Bees headed out on to the new 4G Pitch at Derby for a warm up with rubber and plastic studs in place(#Studgate). After a good brisk start then the Bees boys were ready to play 4 x 10 minutes match against two Derby sides.

From the off the Bees boys were combative and competitive across the pitch. The Derby boys were met with a wall of Black, Gold and Red shirts. A great defensive effort across the board set the standard across all the games interspersed with some great interplay, this which led to some fantastic tries in attack.

Bees Under 10's touring team proved to be too strong for the Derby U10's winning all four games.

Fantastic first tour with a big thanks to all for taking part.
