Bees back in the groove

A dry warm morning for Bees first match up with Pinley. Both sides missing a few players.
Bees start and offend at the first ruck with Pinley clearing to touch on halfway. Pinley secure possession from their lineout and Bees offend at the next ruck. Pinley opt to run and Bees earn turnover ball before knocking on out wide. Bees turnover possession from the scrum but are taken to touch out wide. Pinley secure possession from their lineout and clear downfield. Bees run the return and Pinley offend at the breakdown allowing Bees to progress up to near the 22. Bees take possession from the lineout but knock on in midfield. Pinley secure ball from their scrum initially recycling well before Bees earn turnover ball sent out wide quickly for PJ to have a run down the line and over for the first score on 7 minutes. 5-0.
Pinley restart which Bees initially return past halfway. Bees hands on the floor initially give the opportunity to clear but a missed touch allows Bees to go wide left, recycle and then cut back across the pitch with well timed pasing and off loading allowing Lewis G to go over. Converted by Ivor for 12-0 on 11 minutes.
Pinley restart and a strong run from Kamil takes Bees up to the 22. Bees recycle and attack wide but Pinley eventually take the ball to touch. Bees take possession from their lineout. A couple of drives later and the ball is sent out wide for Dec to go over. Ivor converts for 19-0 15 minutes in.
Pinley restart and following a Bees knock on Pinley change their game plan and start playing close to the rucks. Good ball retention and a succession of drives taking them deep into Bees 22. A knock on in midfield halting the steady progress. Bees attack from their scrum making progress to halfway before being taken to touch. Pinley secure possession before being taken to touch. Bees secure ball from their lineout with the ball eventually going wide for PJ with work still to do going over from wide on 21 minutes. Ivor converts for 26-0.
Bees notched up two further scores in the half. The first with from Dec following stolen ball at a Pinley lineout. The second this time from a Bees lineout where a great running line from Dec shows how easy it can be if you make the right decisions. Ivor converts the second for 38-0 at halftime. Some on the touchline knew it was a hat-trick.
Bees start with real precision scoring quickly from the restart with a strong run from Josh down the wing and over and the second with a strong run through the defence from Corry. Both converted for 52-0. Pinley opted to continue and tightened up the game again with their forwards. Bees had the bit between their teeth today though and rolled in three further tries in the half. the first with Corry poaching from inside the 22 and the next to Corry again following up a strong run from Kamil for his hat-trick. The final score was similar to one from Dec in the first half where the quality of the running line did all the work for Lewis G to take his second core from the game.
