Second Half Close Out

Lovely clear day at Wolves. Great weather for shorts. A much changed Bees team lined up started brightly. Bees kick off with forwards competing well. Wolves retain possession recycling but Bees defence strong eventually earning turn over ball. Bees attack on the short side recycle quickly and send the ball out wide for a first score. Noah converts. 2m 0-7.
Wolves restart not 10 and Bees make a half break up to the 22 following a strong scrum before wolves secure turnover ball sent out wide for some strong running to secure Wolves first score. 5m 7-7.
Bees restart and Wolves knock on. Bees secure clean ball from their scrum and Wolves secure turnover ball and kick. Bees run the return but Wolves earn further turnover ball sending it out wide for a further score. 7m 12-7
Bees restart with Callum gathering and making yards. Bees exert some pressure outside the 22 but wolves defence holds firm eventually earning turnover ball and clearing to the 10m line. Bees line out works well but Wolves again earn turnover ball in midfield recycling initially before sending a kick deep into Bees 22. Strong chasing scrags the Bees fullback before Wolves come up with the ball to go over for a third score. 14m 17-7.
Bees restart and Wolves definitely have their tails up running the first free kick, eventually going wide and being taken to touch. Bees secure clean ball and kick through but Wolves recover possession and again attacking wide sees the through for a fourth score. 19m 22-7
Bees restart long with Wolves running the return up to the 10m line. Bees are starting to regain a bit more composure contain Wolves deep in their half. A Wolves knock on sees a pick up by Lewis B sent out wide but a knock on returns possession to Wolves on their 22. Wolves scrum secure their ball but Bees pressure forces a knock on in midfield. From this scrum in the Wolves 22 the ball goes out to Noah who kicks through and is the winner of the foot race. Noah then converts. 25m 22-14.
Bees defensive gaps plugged for the remainder of the half. Lewis B makes a strong run from the restart and Bees camp themselves in Wolves half. Lots of close quarter action but Bees are starting to excert a bit more control eventually kicking from a penalty to touch deep in Wolves 22. Messy possession from the lineout eventually turned over but Wolves send the ball into midfield along the line with Callum first to the ball to score. Noah converts closing out the first half. 22-21 
Having dragged themselves back on the scoreboard Bees came out in determined style to match last weeks second half performance. From the restart Josh goes on a strong run up to the 22. Bees recyle a couple of times before Kamil goes down the blind side and into the corner. 37m 22-26
From the Wolves restart Bees control the ball well before attacking wide and up to the 22. Bees recycle three times before Andy goes over. Noah converts. 40m 22-33.
Bees repeat the pattern attacking from secure ball and going wide and up to the 22. Recycling and controlling possession before Kamil spots a gap and goes though but into the corner. Noah hits the post with the conversion attempt. 43m 22-38
Wolves compete well from the restart forcing ta turnover. Wolves make ground but the kick through is too heavy and Ben grounds. Bees 22 restart initially blocked but Bees take the loose ball and Noah sets off on a run into Wolves half kicking into space cross field before being taken into touch. Strong running from Bees forces a knock on near the Wolves line. From the scrum Lewis B picks up and goes over. Noah converts. 47m 22-45
Wolves weren't out of this game with possession being won and lost by both teams and the game swaying between the respective 22s. Deadlock broken after 15 minutes when after a couple of close and very competitive rucks Noah picks from the halfway breaking through the broken defence and into open space on the 10m line. Wolves chase just unsuccessful. Noah converts. 62m 22-52
Final scores of the game came from a strong run from Lewis H on 68m taking the score to 22-57 and Lewis B to close out the game. Ivor converts for 22-64.
Wolves back 3 dug a hole for Bees in the first half and put in some impressive defence today but Bees re-grouped and from 20 minutes in started to ease any touchline jitters eventually winning well.
