Bright (yes bright) but breezy conditions for the match up with Ilkley. Apparently just a couple of years ago the clubhouse was just a selection of porta cabins. Always believe!

.Lots of changes at halftime.

Ilkley restart with Tom J breaking the first few tackles and finally bouncing the full back before continuing the blistering scoring rate. converted on 26 minutes for 0-54.

Bees continuing penalty count and the odd word sees Ilkley get some time in the Bees half and up to the 22 before Bees secure turnover sending the ball out wide and recycle getting the ball to Lewis G to show a clean pair of heels to the defence for a further converted score on 32 minutes for 0-61.

Bees continued to fire with the final score of the day constructed from a scrum with Will L picking up at 8 making yards before passing in to Jamie. 20 yards or so later Jamie repays the compliment and gets the ball back to Will L to score the games final converted score on 37 minutes 0-68.

From the restart Josh has his first run but is penalised for holding on. Ilkley clear to touch. A minute or two later the home ref calls time following an unexpected change in sport to close things out on 41 minutes. I don't think anyone saw that coming.

Overall a great start for the tour. Lots of changes to the starting line up and more at half time. The increasing ability to switch players but retain shape and control is great to see.

That said Cory and Lewis H's respective outings at 10 and on the wing will just have to wait.

More high energy evening supplements. With other players taking the spotlight.
