Competition rules are to play to 50 points so game completed.
It's difficult to know what Sutton will take from today but they competed well and hard and controlled territory for long periods. A lot of the lads know each other and Bees know Sutton are a strong outfit. Unfortunately they came up against a Bees side that were really firing today. Unbreakable defence and a razor sharp attack was Bees order of the day.
All in all this was the best possible occasion for Bees to put together their most cohesive, balanced and controlled performance of the year. Obvious plaudits for Noah with a 42 point haul ( the judge knows 4 were left on the pitch) but the high standard of performance went across the team. The missed tackle count was ridiculously low and tireless work from the forwards meant that the backs had the sort of ball to exploit today that they dream about.
So title successfully defended and Bees get to call themselves North Midlands Champions again. A glorious way to start bringing to a close a season where Bees are so far undefeated. Happy days!!!
