Bees U12s v Sils U12s

With 20 of their players away at the North mids festival it was always going to tough for what is normally a very strong Sils squad. However both teams were up for a good morning of rugby.

First Game

Sils start but Bees take early possession.
A nice pass from George to Emma for a great run making good ground and Sam picked up to make the first try.
1-0

Bees demonstrated good defence and superb team work and Sam was unstoppable scoring his second try.
2-0

Despite Sam's best efforts Sils were allowed their first try.
2-1

Bees woke up again and Ollie broke through and made his trademark run to score a third.
3-1

Good team work and passing, great tackles from Fin and Sam, good ground from Emma and Sam and Joe finished the job 4-1.

More of the same and with a good combination of passing and switching between Fin will Sam and Sam scored again. 5-1.

Second Half
Bees kick off and Joe took the first attemp to score but was stopped short.
A great tackle from Sam stopped a sils run.
George made a good tackle past to Ollie who ran the distance down the line to score.
6-1.
Good communication, lines and passing and generally a pleasure to watch!

Second Game

A strong Bees start, great ball snatch by Ollie and past to Sam who scored. 1-0
Joe made it look easy and scored 2-0
Great defence and tackles by Ollie and Sam.
Good team line and organised moves.
2-0.

Second Half
Again good team work, excellent line and passing between Sam, George, Keru and back to Sam to score 3-0
Nice combinations between George and Ollie and George pulled off a good dummy to make a great run but got caught short of the line. But no fear, Ollie picked it up to finish the job.
4-0
Another good run by George again but taken down before the line. Strong finish with good play between Will, Keru and Ollie and George scored his long awaited try before the final whistle.
5-0
