Bees U12s v Sandbach v Woodrush

First game Bees v Sandbach
The visiting team looked big and strong and our little Bees appeared to intimidated.
Sam and Ewan both showed good strength and held their own. Ollie demonstrated good defence and then had a great run and scored an amazing first try. Spirits and confidence boosted but a bad pass gave the advantage to Sandbach and they scored their first try to even up the score 1-1. Bees lost heart and confidence to tackle and soon Sandbach had a free run to a second try 2-1 and the game went away from us ending 5-1

2nd Game Bees v Woodrush

Bees came back determined to win the next game. A great start by ollie with another fantastic run but just short of a try. Soon followed by another race to the line by George, again just short. Finally a well deserved try for Jo to boost confidence.

Another run by George again not quite far enough to score but a great team effort maintained ground and possession and eventually Sam scored his first try to bring in to 2-0.

Final game Bees V Sandbach

Despite the freezing weather and smell of burgers the players took position to do the business.

Despite Bees defending well Sandbach soon scored the first try 1-0
Another valiant effort and run from Ollie but he was eventually brought down short of the try line. Sandbach came back harder still and poor Bees passes made it easy for Sandback to score a further 2 try's to finish the game 3-0.

A great morning of rugby from all teams. Sandbach were avery well organised and talented team with alot of their players towering above ours, even Oliie didn't look that tall. So our merry band of 12 players stood up well to their might.

We rounded of the morning with the largest game of bulldog portway has ever seen. However the carnage that ensued brought an early end to the fun.
