A big Sils squad of 3 teams arrived to take on the Bees under 11's on a bright, cold morning.
The first game was dominated by the Bees keeping possession of the ball. Good team play lead to an early try assisted by Ollie, Will, Lochie, George with Lauren finally touching down.
The second half followed the same pattern with Ollie striding to the try line to take the Bees to a 2-0 Lead. Despite good defence Sils saw a chance and scored a try but Ollie soon struck back with another try to finish the first game with a 3-1 victory.
The second game saw the Sils bring on a fresh, stronger team with some familiar faces. With the Bees feeling confident, this was a much tougher game. Despite good defence the Sils quickly scored their first try. Bees kept up the pressure but went into half time 2-0 down.
The second half saw Will near to repeat his spectacular try of last week but was forced into touch before he made the try line ,Sils battled on to a 4-0 win.
The final game and more fresh legs for the Sils, an evenly matched game where ground was hard to make. Another fantastic try from Ollie just before half time gave the Bees confidence for the second half.
The second half again gave the Bees opportunity to demonstrate good tackles, rucking and passing, even a switch or two! Ollie made another try securing the Bees win before the Sils scored the final try but too late as the Bees finished with a 2-1 victory.
Well done all!
