In our first outing of the year 11 of our 13 registered players got a run out in a high quality festival.
Some new players got their first taste of Bees rugby and some players from last year had the opportunity to remind themselves what it is like to play other teams.
Overall we played really well and improved in every game with game 6 and 7 being easily our best performances. The final result was not the most important thing today - what we really wanted was for everyone to be involved and to BLOW AWAY THE COBWEBS.
The coaches are happy that they had a chance to look at all the squad in match situations and now know what we need to build on in the coming weeks and over the season.
The parents seemed to have a great time cheering the team on in the beautiful sunshine and this support was much appreciated.
All looks good for a successful season ahead.
