Message from the Membership Secretary

MEMBERSHIP ENROLMENT

All Club memberships expired on 31 August. I shall be at Portway on:

Sunday 8 September 1030 – 1430
Thursday 12 September 1900 - 2030
Saturday 14 September 1415 – 1700
Sunday 28 September 1000 – 1230

to enrol, & accept payment from, members of all categories for the new season who do not wish to or cannot do so by e-mail and internet banking.

As mentioned in my message of 6 August to Ordinary Members:

"membership income is critical for the Club to help cover the many costs associated with the maintenance and upkeep of Portway, as well as ‘necessities’ such as heat, light and business rates.
to replace the season ticket we intend to provide Ordinary Members with £20 in bar vouchers, consisting of four vouchers, each worth £5 printed with a different calendar month (September, October, November and December). The bar vouchers will be available from me on the dates mentioned above."

I do hope that all last season’s members will most kindly continue to provide the vital (financial and non-financial) support the Club needs by renewing their membership.
