tHREE BEES JUNIORS MAKE THE NORTH MIDS SCHOOOL OF RUGBY

Last Month 3 Bees M&J players, Josh Wardle, Patrick Lindsay, and Ben Phillips trialled for the North Midlands School of Rugby, this is the first step on the RFU's Elite Player Development Pathway which is tasked with producing the proffessional of the future.

The North Midlands School of Rugby was formed 4 years ago and the coaches at the school had to go through a rigorous selection programme themselves which included interviews, presentations, and culminated with them running sessions at the Worcester Warriors Academy under the eagle eyes of Warriors coaches and various RFU big wigs.

The school's curriculum is based around core skills and game management, the squad itself will never play matches, the players themselves getting representative competitive game time in their Counties and Regions.

The Bees M&J Advanced Player Development Group was specifically formed on the same lines as the NMSoR to increase our player's representative chances and all 3 players are APDG members. I am delighted to report that all 3 players were successful and have been chosen for the NMSoR.

This reflects tremendously well on the M&J section as a whole and indicates the high standard of coaching that is consistantly shown throughout all the M&J age groups. We sincerely hope that these highly talented lads will continue their progress and one day turn out as professionals for Bees.
