NEW MAIN CLUB SPONSOR ANNOUNCED

In tough financial times you need to be innovative when you're trying to raise sponsorship funds. This year, Birmingham and Solihull Rugby Club launched a campaign to attract new corporate partners to the club. The brainchild of Ben Seifas, General Manager of Bees Rugby, involved inviting local businesses to take part in a 'no lose' Prize Draw to become the main sponsor of Bees Rugby. The lucky winner is a local car, van, and minibus hire company - MIDHIRE.

Bees Rugby will proudly wear the logo of Midhire on the front of both the home and away shirts this season. Midhire will also enjoy a number of benefits including match day hospitality, advertising boards, and season tickets.

Speaking after the draw, Phill Pinfield, a Director of Midhire, said "I never expected to win the draw but what a great prize for Midhire". He went on to explain that "The draw was a great idea and it was an easy decision to take part".

Phill added "Now that we are main sponsors, we are really going to push to raise the profile of the club. We are currently looking into getting the Bee's logo on the fleet of vehicles". "Damson Park is a great facility and will be enjoyed by both Midhire and our clients that we will invite down to games" said the Director of the local Solihull business.

The great news is that every company that took part in the draw also wins as they all receive an advertising board and a couple of season tickets for the upcoming season. The other companies that took part included Heritage IFA, Busy Bees Day Nursery, Smith Cooper, MPA Financial Management, Haslucks Green Motor Company, Misfuel Systems, Angel Accounting, Birmingham Car Auctions, Oasis, Olton Pharmacy, Rapport Recruitment, Bell Plumbing Services, Armac Demolition, and Transvan Express.
