SEMISI TO MOVE ON AT THE END OF THE SEASON
Bees' lock forward/No.8 Semisi Taulava will be leaving the Club at the end of the season to join Rotherham Titans it was announced today (Friday 1st April).
Tongan Semisi, who joined the Club at the beginning of the season from Worthing, has quickly established himself as a firm favourite with the supporters, with his powerful play on the pitch and friendly demeanour off it.
“I’ve had a fantastic year with the Bees this season and will naturally be sad to leave the Club at the end of the season” said Semisi. “We’ve got three big games left in our Relegation Playoff campaign and I want to do everything I can to help the boys secure their Championship status for next season.”
Commenting on the announcement Bees’ Director of Rugby Russell Earnshaw said, “Semisi has been a fantastic find for us this season and has made substantial progress as a player since joining us from ND2 side Worthing. His strength and all-round athleticism has caught the eye of a number of Championship Clubs this year and everyone at the Club wishes him well on his move to Rotherham next season.”
