Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club will be hosting the regional final of the RFU “24 Sevens” tournament, sponsored by Secure Trading, at Portway this coming Saturday 7th July.

The day will see Mens, Womens and Social Sevens sides from around the region competing in a full day programme on four pitches that will begin at 9.30am and conclude at approximately 6pm.

Entry and car parking for spectators is free, with gates open from 9am onwards. Players entry to the ground will be from 8.30am onwards.

With both the Players’ and Supporters Village open to 9pm, there will be hot food available all day – from breakfast in the morning to an afternoon and evening BBQ. In association with Purity Brewery, there will be an outdoor bar to complement our main indoor bar, serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.

TV screens will be positioned in the Supporters’ village screening F1 and World Cup soccer action during the day, with live music from 2pm onwards.

There will also be an opportunity to find out how to get involved with rugby at the Bees – from Mini & Juniors through to Senior sides.
