Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Club wishes to recruit a new Backs Coach to support the Club’s new Head of Rugby.

Relegated from National League 2 North at the end of last season, the club has recently appointed a new Head of Rugby who has been tasked not only to help ensure an immediate return to Level 4 rugby for the first team, but also to build upon the good work that has been done in recent years to further strengthen the
development of all senior and junior rugby at the club.

Desired Attributes
Applicants for this role should ideally have the following attributes;-
• Hold a Level 2 Rugby Union Coaching Qualification or currently working towards that level
• Playing and coaching at a suitably high level is desirable but not essential
• Have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate at all levels
• Be hard working, honest, trustworthy and able to buy into and positively shape the culture and ethos
at the club

Role and Remuneration
Although a part-time position, the nature of the role will require the successful candidate to be able to put the requisite time and commitment into the job. The remuneration will be commensurate with experience and ability, as well as in line with the club’s current National League 3 Midlands status.
