Entries stiil open for teams at RFU Community Sevens tournament at Portway

Portway is due to be the venue for one of the qualifying rounds of the RFU’s 2017 24/Sevens series on Saturday 20th May.

The community sevens series, which was launched last year, aims to continue to grow sevens rugby and increase participation among men and women. Over 6,000 players participated in last year's competition with the final held at Allianz Park. The 2017 Final will be held at the Recreation Ground, Bath.

Birmingham & Solihull is pleased to be hosting one of the 38 regional heats at Portway on 20th May and will be entering a team
