Birmingham & Solihull Rugby club have a great opportunity for any person who is interested in gaining some “hands on” experience in sports journalism and general communications.

The club’s on-going communication programme involves writing pre-match previews and programme pieces, filing match reports, recording post-match video interviews, liaising with local and sports media and keeping the club’s website (consistently in the Pitchero’s Top 30 Club Rankings) and social media channels (2.5k followers on twitter alone) updated.

Anyone who is willing to give commitment across a whole season will be given training, practical help, guidance and support from the club’s communications officer, Richard Smith.
