Third day in the day, as second leg successfully completed

The LEJOG4THEBOG challenge enters its third day today (Friday 23rd June), after the second leg – St Columb Major to Crediton - was successfully completed.

At 78 miles, today’s leg – from Crediton to Yatton, just to the south west of Bristol, is of a similar distance to yesterday’s 81 mile shift.

Phone signal continues to be patchy, but Communications HQ here is Solihull understands that all five riders remain in good nick and spirits, chivvied along by their excellent support team.

As an army marches on its stomach, Andrew Lockington has taken on the role of Director of Nutrition, aka chief cook and bottle washer. On the menu last night was “Best cut fillet steak in home made peppercorn sauce, crispy garlic new potatoes and steamed mixed vegetables”, so our boys are being well looked after on the culinary front.

Dai and the team have asked me to thank everyone for their support so far and please keep the donations coming in via https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/LEJOG4THEBOG
