A stern test awaits Bees in the form of league leaders Rams RFC

Following a much improved performance at Barnes, Bees face their sternest test of the season to date against league leaders Rams RFC, who have accrued an impressive 65 points from 14 games. They currently lead second place Canterbury by 10 points. Rams only defeat (18-10) came at Old Albanian on 22 September. Last weekend they beat Clifton 26-19. It should be noted that Rams led 19-0 after 15 minutes, but Clifton fought their way back into the game to level the scores after 45 minutes. That was as good as it got for the men in lavender as Rams scored the match winning try, which was converted, in the 58th minute of the game.

Redingensians RFC was founded in 1924, by old boys of Reading Grammar School.
In 2006/07, Redingensians won league South West 2 East and were promoted to South West 1, Tier 5 Rugby, for the first time in their history. In 2013/14, Redingensians finished second in National League 3 South West, only to lose their play off game against Old Elthamians, 17-10. The following season Redingensians won National League 3 South West, thus gaining promotion to National League 2 South. Last season, when known as Redingensians Rams, they finished third on 112 points. They changed their playing name to Rams RFC at the start of the current season.

Apropos team news, Pete Glackin has made a few changes for this week's game. Zane Raimondi starts at hooker, with Nick Bingham starting at tight head. Keanan Cooper partners Matt Spink in the second row. In the backs, Corey Venus returns at full back, with Matt Dight filling the No.14 shirt.
