Sutton Coldfield visitors to Portway this Saturday

Pete Glackin has named a 25 man squad for the first of two home friendlies against Midland 1 West side Sutton Coldfield this Saturday (19th August).

The game – which will be in a standard 2 x 40 minute halves will kick off at 2.30pm with free entry for all supporters.

The starting pack will feature Joe Foreman, Zan Raimondi, Matt Probert, Danny Wright, Keanan Cooper, Ashley Scriven, Michael Stephens and Reece Donaldson.

Captain Jack Jolly is joined in the backs by Ben Phillips, Matt Dight, Nathan Tilsey, Max Rodman and Chris Fensome.

On the replacements bench, Harry Smith, Jamie Domachi, George Radburn, Sam Allen, Chris Thompson, Matthew Collier, Jack Secher, Jamie Maynard, Jevon Hinds, Owen Walker and Jake Ngatchu will all get their chance to impress too.

This will be the third of four pre-season friendlies – both games played to date - a win at Rugby Lions and a draw last weekend at Dings Crusaders – have been played away from home, so this will be the first opportunity for Bees supporters to see the new squad on home soil.

“We must continue to build and to take this weekend’s opportunity to further develop as one squad, working hard for each other” said the Bees Head of Rugby.
