Taking place at Olney Rugby Club’s Recreation Ground in Buckingham (MK46 4DW), the Bees will be looking to repeat their success in last year’s tournament which saw both sides progress to the final stages of the competition in the Open and Social Categories respectively.

Head of Rugby Pete Glackin has named his two sides that will fly the flag for the Bees in this Saturday’s tournament.

“The Bee Hives”, captained by Nathan Tilsley, will feature Danny Wright, Reece Donaldson, Matt Spink, Ben Phillips, Jevon Hinds, Matt Dight and new squad member Corey Venus. Alex Smith, Mike Ho and Ollie Walker will also be part of the 12-man squad as guest players.

“The Bee Stings, captained by Tyler Price, will feature Jacob Lisle, Keanan Cooper, Pete Logan, Diaba, Sean O’Sullivan, Alex O’Malley and Joe Cave. Guests Kieran Hayes, Ollie Clark, Lennox Baselala and Jamal Gask Clarke will also play as guests.

The Stings will play in Pool A, which includes sides HW Green Dragons, Paggers Pirates and Long Buckby. Coventry Rugby and Fuze 7s will be amongst the Hives’ opposition in Pool 3. Tournament KO is 11.00am.
