Another practical and fun way to show your support for the club

Your chance to ‘Adopt a Player’

Head Coach Pete Glackin and his team have put together an exciting squad for the upcoming season.

Some faces are familiar to the supporters and some will be new to the club with players and coaches from afar a field as South Africa, New Zealand, Ghana and Coventry.

Integrating the players on and off the field is one of the key objectives to a successful season and you as a support can help achieve this objective by ‘Adopting a Player’ and becoming their ‘Buddy.’

So what does this entail?

You can ‘Adopt a Player’ and become their ‘Buddy’ as an individual, as a family or as an M&J age group.

The intention is for you to be a friendly face to welcome the player into the club. All you need to do is simple but effect things such as to chat the player on Match Days, look after them, offer to feed them, buy them a beer or whatever you think will make the player feel part of the club.

Players will be allocated to the ‘Buddy ‘at the Open Training Session and BBQ on Thursday 18th August. All B&S members and supporters will automatically be entered as a Buddy into the ballot to be match up with a player. It would be great if you could attend on the night to kick off the Player/Buddy relationship.

Please contact Tina Lupoli (tina.lupoli@beesrugby.com or Mobile: 07733 007090) to confirm whether you wish to ‘Adopt a Player’ as an individual, as a family or as an M&J age group and attend the open training session on Thursday 18thAugust.

P.S. This initiative isn’t player sponsorship – which is still available (at very reasonable rates) through the commercial arm of the club.
