3. Information for visiting supporters

A very warm welcome to visiting supporters

The Bees always look to extend the warmest possible welcome (well off the pitch anyway) to visiting fans.

This season our first team will be welcoming many clubs to Portway for the first time. Please find below some information which you may find useful to help you plan your visit to Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Football Club.

How to Find us

Our ground is situated just off Junction 3 of the M42 motorway on Forshaw Heath Lane, Portway (Post Code B94 5LH for SatNav).

For the avoidance of doubt, we DO NOT play at our old ground at Sharmans Cross Road near Solihull town centre, nor at Damson Park, home of Solihull Moors FC!

Travelling by car

Leave the M42 at junction 3. Take the exit onto A435/Alcester Road (southbound), after 0.1miles turn left into Forshaw Heath Lane. After 0.2miles turn right into signposted club grounds.

Parking

There is plentiful free parking at Portway. Please note: all vehicles are left at owner's risk.

Travelling by rail

The nearest train station to Portway is Earlswood (positioned in a north-easterly direction, approx. 1.2miles from the club). N.B. There is not any pavement between the station & Portway.

Solihull Station and Birmingham International Rail Station are both within a taxi ride of Portway and both offer excellent connections to the National Rail Network.

Match Day Tickets

Entry to all home games is free.

Catering

We have a limited selection of food available for purchase at the bar.

Outdoor Facilities

We have limited covered outdoor spectator space, with no seating. Coupled with a unique micro climate that we "enjoy" at Portway, supporters are advised to wear suitable clothing and footwear!
