The win was all the more meritorious because the Bees had to cope with the late

Waterloo 19 Pertemps Bees 38
Pertemps Bees showed tremendous character by bouncing back from three straight
defeats to land an important bonus point victory on Merseyside.
It was a win achieved in adversity because injuries left the Bees with a bare-bones
22-man squad and forced them to make two late changes on the eve of the game
when Dan Tuohy and Jon Higgins dropped out.
It was also secured against a Waterloo side buoyed with confidence after a shock
win at Exeter the previous week but the Bees demonstrated composure by building
a commanding half-time lead and withstanding Waterloo's determined second half
fightback. [more]TUOHY
