Bees have swooped to sign talented centre Mike Mangeolles on a season-long loan
from Premiership club Bristol.The highly-rated 20-year-old was released by Bath at the end of last season having graduated from their Academy. Mangeolles was snapped up by Bristol's head coach Richard Hill who has agreed to loan him to Pertemps Bees to get him battle-hardened.
Mangeolles will train with Bristol's first team squad during the day and with the Bees on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and play for them on Saturdays.
"Mike's got potential and we'll see if we can help him realise that," Hill said. "I know that he'll be well looked after while he's with the Bees and we shall be monitoring his progress."
Bristol will be able to recall Mangoelles from his loan spell with the Bees in the event of an injury crisis at the Memorial Ground.
Pertemps Bees were close to signing Mangeolles as their own player before Bristol snapped him up but have enjoyed an amicable relationship with Bristol who sent out prop Jason Hobson on loan to Sharmans Cross Road two seasons ago.
