PERTEMPS BEES SIGN TWO MORE (May 2 2007)
Peter MurchiePertemps Bees' head coach Steve Williams has continued to strengthen his squad for next season by signing prop Alun Wyn Davies and full-back Peter Murchie.
Wyn Davies, a former Wales Under-21 international, arrives at Sharmans Cross Road from National One rivals Coventry and Murchie from Waterloo, who have just been relegated to National Two.
Wyn Davies hails from Port Talbot, the smae home town as Williams, and played Celtic League rugby for the Osprey before he joined Coventry. He is a specialist loosehead who can also play at hooker if required.
Murchie, 21, is a full-back or wing who joined Waterloo from Bath where he was a member of the Guinness Premiership club's Academy.
The recruitment of Wyn Davies and Murchie takes the number of new signings Williams has made for next season to seven.
Wyn Davies is the third former Coventry player to join Pertemps Bees following lock Dave Campton and prop Pete Bucknall.
Scrum-half Paul Knight and winger James Aston have been signed from local rivals Moseley and former Ireland Under-21 full-back Matt Williams from Stourbridge of National Two.
