DUNNING
NAMED AS CANADA RESERVE (April 16 2007)
Pertemps
Bees prop Casey Dunning has been named as a non-travelling reserve for Canada's
squad for this summer's Barclays Churchill Cup which will be staged in England
for the first time.
Dunning, who recently signed a new one-year contract with Pertemps Bees, is about
to complete his first season at Sharmans Cross Road. He has had two lengthy absences
from first team action caused by ankle problems, having dislocated an ankle against
Moseley in September, then suffered a broken ankle against Sedgley Park in December.
Dunning has not been included in Canada's 28-man squad for the Churchill Cup,
but he has been named as one of 22 non-travelling reserves for the tournament
which also involves the England Saxons, Ireland A, New Zealand Maoris, Scotland
A and the USA.
Winger Brodie Henderson, who had a spell with Pertemps Bees at the start of the
season, has also been named as one of Canada's non-travelling reserves for the
tournament.
