DOUBT FOR NEWBURY TRIP (April 10 2007)
Pertemps
Bees will assess the fitness of hooker Matt Miles before they finalise their side
for the rearranged National League One game against Newbury at Monks Lane on Saturday
April 14 (3pm).
The former Northampton player took a painful blow to the ankle during last Saturday's
33-33 draw at Coventry and his condition will be assessed by Pertemps Bees' medical
staff at training this evening.
Miles is the only fit specialist hooker in the Pertemps Bees squad at the moment
because Stewart Pearl has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with
a broken hand which he sustained in the defeat at Rotherham in late January.
If Miles is not fit to face Newbury his place in the middle of the front row is
likely to be taken by Canadian international prop Casey Dunning with Emyr Lewis,
another prop, providing cover as a replacement.
