SIGN UP FOR PERTEMPS BEES (April 5 2007)
Pertemps
Bees' head coach Steve Williams has re-signed nine members of his current first
team squad and completed the signing of lock Dave Campton from Coventry for next
season.
Former Wales international lock Williams has confirmed that Canadian international
prop Casey Dunning, former Ulster scrum-half Reece Spee, hooker Stewart Pearl
and former Worcester and Exeter lock Mark Gabey, who are about to complete their
first season with Pertemps Bees, have signed contract extensions.
Wales Under-20 international back-row forward Matt Larsen, who joined Pertemps
Bees from Cardiff in January, has also committed himself for a another season
along with England sevens and former Gloucester flanker Will Matthews, ex-Moseley
prop Matt Long, former Northampton hooker Matt Miles and utility back Dave Knight,
Pertemps Bees' longest-serving player.
Campton, who was coached by Williams at Coventry, has opted to continue as a part-time
player with Pertemps Bees rather than become a full-timer with Coventry next season.
Campton, 26, has played for the England Counties XV and joined Coventry after
spells with Barkers's Butts and the Leicester academy.
Williams is holding contract discussions with other members of the existing first
team squad as well as other potential new recruits and expected to be able to
announce further signings in the near future.
