KNIGHT TO MISS OTLEY GAME (March 25 2007)
Pertemps Bees are expected to be without centre Dave Knight for the National League One game against Otley at Sharmans Cross Road on Saturday March 31 (3pm).
Knight, who has only recently returned to action following the completion of an eight weeks suspension for a dangerous tackle, pulled a hamstring in the warm-up before the EDF Energy National Trophy semi-final defeat at Exeter last Saturday.
Knight is expected to be out of action for up to three weeks leaving Pertemps Bees with familiar selection headaches for the Otley game.
Former Wales Under-21 centre Tristan Davies started in the centre at Exeter even though he had not fully recovered from a hamstring problem of his own. But Davies aggravated his injury during the first half and had to be replaced before half time.
Davies will have a further fitness check this week to decide whether he will be able to play any part against Otley.
The good news for Pertemps Bees is that Ireland Under-21 flanker/lock Dan Tuohy, who came on as a second half replacement against Exeter, should be fit to play against Otley.
Tuohy suffered a knee injury in early January and the Exeter game was his second outing inside a week following a game for Gloucester's second team last week.
Canadian international prop Casey Dunning is also back in contention having recovered from the broken ankle he sustained against Sedgley Park before Christmas. Dunning came on as a replacement for Matt Long midway through the second half at Exeter.
