Bees will be able to welcome back utility back Dave Knight for their National
League One game against Doncaster Knights at Castle Park on Saturday March 10.
Knight has not played since mid-January when his appeal failed against an eight
weeks suspension imposed by a Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel. Knight
was found guilty of dangerously tackling an opponent in the win at Waterloo in
October.
The initial hearing was in November but Knight was allowed to continue playing
until his appeal was considered.
Knight's return will come as a welcome boost to Pertemps Bees because winger Adam
Billig broke his nose in the EDF Energy National Trophy quarter-final win at Newbury
yesterday and he will require a fitness test before the Doncaster game.
Emyr Lewis will again provide replacement cover for hooker Matt Miles because
Rob Elloway, who was on loan from Gloucester, has been recalled by the Premiership
club and he will not be returning. Former Plymouth Albion hooker Stewart Pearl,
who broke a hand at Rotherham six weeks ago, is still a week away from fitness.
Pertemps Bees will also be without centre/fly-half Brad Davies for the remainder
of the season following his recall by Gloucester from his loan arrangement.
