LEWIS SET FOR WATERLOO RETURN (February 22 2007)

LEWIS SET FOR WATERLOO RETURN (February 22 2007)
Pertemps Bees prop Emyr Lewis is set to return to action in the National League One game against Waterloo at Sharmans Cross Road on Saturday February 24 (2pm).
Lewis has been suffering from a sore back but was named as a replacement for last week's EDF Energy National Trophy game against Nuneaton. But he was included only to provide emergency cover for hooker Matt Miles rather than the two props and was not used during the game.
Lewis is likely to fill the gap vacated by Neil Fowkes from their last league game against Plymouth Albion three weeks ago. Fowkes has been recalled by Nottingham from a loan spell with Pertemps Bees.
Pertemps Bees are also expected to recall captain Mark Cornwell and Fijian flanker Akapusi Qera to the starting XV. Both were named as replacements against Nuneaton last week and made a significant impact when they came on in the second half.
Canadian international Brodie Henderson is also likely to be preferred to Kyle Palm on the left wing. Henderson lost his place in the starting line-up against Nuneaton after he was unable to train in the week before the match.
Wales Under-20 back-row forward Matt Larsen is also in contention to be included in the squad for the first time.
Larsen, who joined from Cardiff Blues three weeks ago, is studying at Leicester University and a combination of course work and international training commitments have restricted his availability so far.
