PERTEMPS
BEES SIGN ELLOWAY ON LOAN (January 31 2007)
Pertemps
Bees have signed hooker Rob Elloway from Gloucester on a short-term loan deal.
Elloway, whose first team opportunities with Gloucester have been limited this
season by the presence of Mefin Davies and Olivier Azam, spent a spell on loan
with Pertemps Bees two seasons ago.
Details of the loan were concluded today and Pertemps Bees hope to process the
necessary paperwork in time for Elloway to be included in the squad for the National
League One game against Plymouth Albion at Sharmans Cross Road on Saturday February
3 (2pm). Elloway trained with the Pertemps Bees squad at Portway last night.
Elloway has been signed to fill the gap left by Stewart Pearl who broke a hand
in last Saturday's defeat at Rotherham Earth Titans. Pearl, a former Plymouth
Albion player, had the hand pinned in an operation yesterday and is expected to
be out of action for up to six weeks.
