FOWKES BACK FOR ROTHERHAM (January 24 2007)
Pertemps Bees hae received a boost ahead of the National League One game against Rotherham Earth Titans at Clifton Lane on Saturday January 27 with the news that prop Neil Fowkes will be available for selection.
Fowkes missed last week's EDF Energy National Trophy victory over Launceston after he was recalled by Nottingham from his loan spell with the club.
Fowkes played for Nottingham in their Trophy win at Sedgley Park but will resume his loan spell with Pertemps Bees this weekend which should ease selection difficulties in the continuing absence of injured prop Matt Long.
Tighthead prop Brendan Lynch, who joined Pertemps Bees from Belfast Harlequins two weeks ago, is in line to be in the squad for the visit to his home town club. Lynch, an Ireland Under-19 international, is a product of Rotherham's academy system and played for the South Yorkshire club in National One two years ago.
Meanwhile Pertemps Bees are still waiting to discover the full extent of back row forward Dan Tuohy's knee ligament injury.
Tuohy sustained the injury against Launceston and is due to have another scan later today amid concerns that he may be forced to miss the rest of the season.
